Zimpler names Svenska Spel’s Lindberg as new CTO
Zimpler, a mobile payment services company for online gaming, has appointed Henrik Lindberg as its new chief technology officer.
Lindberg will join the Swedish company from Svenska Spel, where he had been serving as a senior analyst, a position he took after the firm’s acquisition of Playscan
In his new role, Lindberg will head up the development team and the continued development of Zimpler’s payment solution
Zimpler launched its new mobile payment service earlier this year with the aim of simplifying payments in online gaming, as well as giving players more control over winnings and deposits.
“I joined Zimpler because I believe the tool has a huge potential to influence peoples gaming habits in a positive direction, while at the same time providing a solution to the challenge the online gaming industry faces with mobile payments,” Lindberg said.
Kristofer Ekman Sinclair of Zimpler added: “With his experience from Svenska Spel and Playscan, Henrik brings a unique knowledge when it comes to analysing betting patterns, behaviour and its consequences.
“As CTO, he will play a key role in the development of our service, and thus his knowledge will be available for the entire online gaming market.”
