Sky Betting & Gaming CEO joins Senet Group board

Richard Flint, chief executive of Sky Betting & Gaming, has been appointed to the board of UK gambling watchdog the Senet Group.

Flint’s addition to the board comes after Sky Betting & Gaming became the first online-only operator to join the organisation in February of this year.

In addition, the Senet Group has appointed Stephen Thornton as an independent director.

Thornton joins the organisation having held various senior roles within the UK health sector.

Wanda Goldwag, chair of the Senet Group, said: “It is really valuable to have someone with Stephen’s strong health sector and operational background join the board at this time to help us in our endeavour to reduce gambling-related harm.

“I am also delighted that someone who represents online-only gambling is joining the board as we seek to promote online codes of conduct.”
