IGT sets cybersecurity focus with new director appointment
International Game Technology (IGT) has appointed Dr. Samantha Ravich as an independent director as part of an effort to enhance its cybersecurity measures.
Ravich, who will now serve on the IGT nominating and corporate governance committee, is currently chair of the Centre on Cyber and Technology Innovation at the Foundation for Defence of Democracies and its Transformative Cyber Innovation Lab in the US.
She is also vice chair of the US President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, as well as a commissioner on the Cyberspace Solarium Commission and a member of the Secretary of Energy’s Advisory Board.
Previously, Ravich was Deputy National Security Advisor for Vice President Dick Cheney, who served in the role under Former President George W. Bush.
