888 brings in McMillan as senior director

888 has appointed Ron McMillan as a senior independent director of the firm with immediate effect.

McMillan had been serving as a non-executive director of the company, as well as chairman of its audit committee, since May 2014.

Prior to his time with the online gambling operator, he held a number of senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including global finance partner and head of assurance in the Middle East.

McMillan also currently serves as senior independent director and chairman of the audit committee of N Brown Group and SCS, as well as chairman of the audit committee of B&M European Value Retail and chairman of the Welcome to Yorkshire organisation.
