Turner to head up Sporting Index
Spread betting company Sporting Index has promoted marketing director Paul Turner to the newly-created role of head of the business.
Turner has been with the firm for more than three years, and originally served as head of marketing at Sporting Index Group, which encompasses the B2B trading services arm Sporting Solutions.
In his new role, Turner will report directly to chief executive Simon Trim, who took over from Warren Murphy in March of this year.
“Sporting Index is in a very strong position, and initiatives such as adding live casino and a full fixed-odds casino to our offering in March this year is only the beginning,” Turner said.
“I look forward to building upon the phenomenal strength the brand has built up over the past two decades.”
Chief executive Trim added: “Paul’s appointment as head of Sporting Index is a real milestone for the company and signals our commitment to growing the brand within the industry.
“Paul brings a wealth of knowledge from his many years in various marketing roles, and I’ve witnessed first-hand his ability to drive the brand during his three years with us so far.
“I’m certain Sporting Index is primed for success with Paul at the helm, and I look forward to working alongside him for many years to come.”
