Global Daily Fantasy Sports names Scott as director

Global Daily Fantasy Sports has appointed experienced industry executive William Scott to its board of directors.

Scott works as an advisor and investor in the technology sector with a focus on the gaming industry, and previously spent over 12 years with GTECH, now IGT.

In addition, Scott is currently is a non-executive director of the South African National Lottery Ithuba.

Scott replaces Scott Emerson on the Global board after the latter opted to resign from the position.

Darcy Krogh, chief executive of Global, said: “William is an industry veteran with an impressive network of C level relationships both in gaming and lottery around the world.

“I look forward to working with him to develop our business internationally and value his experience. He is a welcome addition to our board of directors.”
