Smilovic takes top compliance role at Relax

Relax Gaming has appointed Alexia Smilovic as its director of compliance and regulated markets.

Smilovic joins the company having spent time with both Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and NetEnt during her career in the industry.

From 2010 until 2014, Smilovic was igaming operations manager at GLI, before moving to NetEnt to take on the role of head of regulated markets.

“I am pleased to be involved in the company journey and participate in the future strategy at this very exciting time for Relax Gaming,” Smilovic said.

“I’m familiar with a number of team members already, which makes me feel very well welcomed in the Relax Gaming family.”

Daniel Eskola, who was appointed as chief executive of Relax earlier this year, added: “Bringing Alexia on board is an excellent boost for us, as her industry experience assures us we have the right person to lead our compliance team.”
