Sky Betting and Gaming confirms internal promotions

Sky Betting and Gaming has announced a number of internal promotions across a number of its core divisions and operations.

Lee O’Donnell will take the role of IT infrastructure and security director, while Paul McCormick is to become director of sports betting technology.

Rob Tuley has been promoted to head of engineering at Gaming Tribe, with Steve Birch moving to the role of commercial director at Sky Bet.

The moves come after the company announced that it is to invest approximately £2.5 million (€3.1 million/$3.6 million) in early career programmes, with plans also in place to expand its headquarters in Leeds, UK.

Since last spring, the firm has hired approximately 400 new members of staff, in addition to introducing software and commercial academies.
