Playtech BGT brings in former Ladbrokes director Drabwell

Playtech BGT Sports has appointed Lee Drabwell, formerly managing director retail at Ladbrokes, as chief operating officer of its UK and Ireland arm.

In his new role, Drabwell will assume responsibility for leading and developing Playtech BGT’s customer base across the UK and Ireland.

Drabwell most recently served as retail operations director UK and Ireland at the Ladbrokes Coral Group business, before leaving the company in October.

Prior to the recent merger with Coral, he served as managing director of retail for Ladbrokes and retail operations director for the UK and Ireland at the firm.

Earlier in his Ladbrokes career, Drabwell also spent time as operations director south, regional director of operations and regional director.
