BCLC brings in Lynda Cavanaugh as interim CEO
| By Robin Harrison
British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has named Lynda Cavanaugh as its interim president and chief executive, with Greg Moore preparing to step down from the position tomorrow (22 January).
Moore handed in his notice in November last year, to pursue a new opportunity in the private sector.
He served in the role since August 2019, after BCLC’s permanent president and CEO Jim Lightbody took a medical leave of absence.
The provincial lottery’s new interim CEO Cavanaugh has held a number of public service roles, and is described as having vast experience in leadership, finance, technology, infrastructure and policy.
