YGAM joins forces with All-In Diversity Project

Youth gaming specialist joins industry-led diversity initiative
The All-in Diversity Project, devised to benchmark diversity, equality and inclusion in the sector, has today unveiled youth gambling education charity YGAM as its latest strategic partner.
The partnership follows YGAM’s announcement earlier this week that its trading subsidiary YGAM Innovation Limited has partnered with Genting to develop an employer-led apprenticeship standard.
The initiative has already received interest from top tier operators including; PaddyPower Betfair, Hippodrome Casino, Genting Casinos UK, GVC, Sky Betting & Gaming and others.
Commenting on the partnership with All-in Diversity, YGAM chief executive Lee Willows said: “Aligning our brand with the All-in Diversity project sends a strong message to potential future apprentices. In addition, I hope both our charity and trading subsidiary can contribute too and learn from the vast amount of resources that the All-in Diversity project is gathering to help us champion diversity both within our organisations and more broadly.”
All-in Diversity has forged a number of high-level partnerships across the industry since it launched last year, bringing the likes of Caesars, Microgaming and IGT on board in recent months.
Co-founder Christina Thakor-Rankin said the latest partnership would enable the project to “explore the role of diversity in raising awareness and limiting harm within children and young people right across the world.”
Commenting on the mass appeal of digital technology among children and the increasingly blurred lines between gaming and gambling, she added: “It [is] more important than ever that we start the education process as early as possible. As these are global activities involving kids and young people from all over the world with differing cultures, religions, socio-economic backgrounds and reasons for participation – it follows that any awareness or support initiative needs to reflect this diversity to be truly effective.”
