Devlin takes over as chairman at William Hill
Roger Devlin has taken on his new role as chairman at William Hill.
In December, William Hill announced that Devlin had been selected to replace Gareth Davis as its chairman.
It was agreed that Devlin would leave his role as chairman at SIS in order to join the William Hill board as chairman designate on February 1.
Davis stepped down as chair yesterday (Monday), allowing Devlin to assume the role.
Prior to his departure, Davis was also chair of the firm’s Nomination Committee and Devlin will now take on this position.
Meanwhile, William Hill has approved a number of other changes to the non-executive composition of its various committees.
David Lowden will chair the Audit & Risk Management Committee, with Mark Brooker chairing the Corporate Responsibility Committee and Georgina Harvey the Remuneration Committee.
