Olympic skater Sven Kramer becomes Nederlandse Loterij ambassador
The deal confirms the Dutch lottery’s role as a partner of skating Netherlands, and as co-main sponsor of the Royal Dutch Skating Association (KNSB).
Kramer will serve as an ambassador in campaigns and brand activations, in order to promote the idea that the Dutch lottery’s purpose is to support sports and society in the Netherlands.
He joins a list of other sporting ambassadors, including several Olympians and Paralympians in a range of disciplines.
The operator said it is extremely proud of the collaboration. Arno de Jong, chief marketing officer of Nederlandse Loterij, said: “Within the rich history of long track speed skating, Sven is the undisputed number one.
“As a partner of TeamNL, we have of course been involved in the Olympic Games for many years and have already enjoyed his achievements a lot. He is a great sportsman with an unprecedented winning mentality, which, as a gaming organization, we are a big fan of”.
Kramer has experience of working with the operator through previous partnerships.
“When Lotto, one of the seven game brands of the Nederlandse Loterij, was a partner of the skating team, I already worked with them a lot and I got to know the Nederlandse Loterij as a committed partner with a real heart for the sport. I look forward to the collaboration,” Kramer said.
Nederlandse Loterij also signed sponsorship deals last year with four teams in the Women’s Eredivisie, the Netherlands’ highest level women’s football league.
