Romanian regulator names Iliovici as president

Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN) has appointed Dan Iliovici as its new president.
Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN) has appointed Dan Iliovici as its new president.
In a statement, the ONJN said that the country’s government had released Odeta Nestor from the position and appoint Iliovici as her replacement.
Iliovici will take on the top role at the national regulatory body having previously served as executive director at the Rombet association.
“In our dealings with Dan we found him to be a straight forward person,” the ONJN said in a statement.
“We sat with him in various panels of discussions so far and met him at various industry events.”
