Looking into the future of gaming regulation

| By iGB Editorial Team

Amid a period of significant regulatory change, there are a number of emerging trends. However in Europe, all of these point towards increasingly strict controls on the industry.

This is most apparent in territories such as Great Britain and Germany, while new measures are being introduced in the likes of Denmark, and the Netherlands will expect operators to tread carefully when they launch.

The US provides a stark contrast. A market that was heavily restricted for so long is now one of the most hospitable jurisdictions for gambling, with more and more states moving online with legal betting and gaming.

In this discussion produced in partnership with the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), lawyers from Denmark, Germany, Great Britain and the Netherlands discuss the European situation, before hearing how things differ in the US.
