CEO cites importance of roulette offering after securing UK licence

Authentic Gaming CEO Jonas Delin believes the company’s roulette offering will tap into the UK’s casino “culture” after a licence to operate in the country was secured.

Authentic, which already has partnerships with a number of UK-licenced operators, such as Kindred Group, LeoVegas and Mr Green, confirmed earlier this week that it had been awarded a licence by the Gambling Commission.

The live casino provider will now be able to supply its games and products in the UK, including its flagship ‘Authentic Roulette’, which streams tables from leading casinos in various markets.

Delin told iGamingBusiness.com that plans are in place to launch Authentic Roulette with existing and new customers in the near future.

“The UK is the largest live casino market in Europe and is crucial to our strategy of expanding into regulated markets around the world,” Delin said.

“What’s more, the majority of our operator partners are UK licensed, and we wanted to be able to offer our games to their players in the UK as we do in other regulated markets across Europe and beyond.

“There is a strong culture in the UK for visiting casinos, so we believe our Authentic Roulette stream from luxury casinos around the world will be a great proposition for UK players.

“In addition, our Casino Floor Studio product will also appeal as it is a dedicated live roulette table located at the heart of prestigious land-based casinos allowing online players to enjoy the buzzing atmosphere of a real-world casino even when playing online.”

Delin expects to go live Authentic’s existing UK-licenced operator partners “in the coming weeks”.

“We are also talking to other UK operators about integrating our suite of live roulette products into their portfolios,” he added.

“We have wanted to do this for some time, and now we have our licence we can pursue these partnerships in earnest.”
