Eportsbetting.com launches with ESIC, MGA
New wagering platform Esportsbetting.com has gone live in partnership with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC).
Esportsbetting.com is the first esports betting platform to have secured a licence from the MGA and was also built in Malta.
The new site will operate in compliance with the betting standard of the ESIC, pledging to offer a “trusted betting platform that operates at the highest level of integrity”.
Punters will be able to place pre-match and in-play bets on a range of esports events and titles, such as ‘League of Legends’, ‘CS:GO’, ‘Dota2’, ‘Overwatch’ and ‘PUBG’.
In addition, users will have access to tool tips and esports statistics, with other features to be added later this year.
Benjamin Bradtke and executives at Frontloop Media founded the new site.
Bradtke said: “Esportsbetting.com is aimed at providing the most secure, integrity-driven esports-first betting experience in the market.
“By only offering markets where integrity checks can be provided, adhering to the highest level of customer and data protections, and implementing tools to verify ages, we have no doubt that esportsbetting.com will provide the safest and most reputable platform to place your esports bets.”
ESIC commissioner Ian Smith added: “the ESIC is very pleased to partner with esportsbetting.com; they will contribute to and benefit from our suspicious betting alert network and help sustain our vital anti-corruption education work.
“Most importantly, the more integrity-conscious betting operators like esportsbetting.com we partner with, the less opportunity there is for unscrupulous illegal operators to get a foothold in the market.”
