Tribal gaming expert joins All-in Diversity Project board

Tribal gaming expert Holly Cook Macarro has joined the board of the All-in Diversity Project, which seeks to promote diversity and inclusion in the gaming industry.

Cook Macarro, a partner at Spirit Rock Consulting LLC, has significant political and legislative experience in Indian affairs matters, having served as a federal lobbyist and advocate on behalf of many tribal clients since 2001. She specialises in managing the Congressional relations for tribal governments and guiding tribal clients in managing their political profiles and priorities.

Joining a board that already includes industry veterans such as Jan Jones Blackhurst, Richard Scheutz and Sue Schneider, Cook Macarro said it was important that tribal gaming concerns were represented.

She said: “Tribal gaming’s role in the US gaming industry is critical and I am excited at the opportunity to assist in providing a tribal perspective to the work of the All-In Diversity Project.”

The London-based All-In Diversity Project was set up last year as a global resource for gender, diversity and inclusion for the betting and gaming sector with an aim to make our global industry more inclusive with real actionable tools and data. Partners include Caesars, Microgaming, Paddy Power and IGT.

It collects data through employee surveys and the All-Index – a standard index which was devised to be the definitive benchmarking tool for the gambling industry to measure progress towards inclusion in the workplace.
