Novomatic files slots lawsuit against Euro Game Technology
Novomatic has filed a lawsuit with the Berlin District Court in Germany against Euro Game Technology over activities involving the sale of slot games.
The lawsuit, which has also been filed against Euro Game’s German sales partner D-Systems, demands compensation for the discontinuance of the further sale of certain slot games offered by Euro Game.
Gaming technology company Novomatic has alleged that some of the games “systematically and unfairly” use essential elements of its own titles, ‘Ultimate Hot’, ‘Olympus Glory’, ‘Flaming Hot’, ‘5 Dazzling Hot’, ‘Lucky Hot’ and ‘Extremely Hot’.
Novomatic added that similar legal actions are currently being prepared in other countries.
