Ladbrokes-Coral hands senior Gala role to McGibney

Ladbrokes-Coral Group has appointed Sarah McGibney, previously of IGT, as brand director across all Gala gaming labels

Ladbrokes-Coral Group has appointed Sarah McGibney, previously of IGT, as brand director across all Gala gaming labels.

McGibney will now oversee Gala brands under the Ladbrokes-Coral umbrella, including GalaBingo.com, GalaCasino.com and GalaSpins.com.

She replaces Angus Nisbet, who is leaving the company to take up the position of digital managing director at Playtech Bingo.

McGibney has spent 18 years working in the gaming industry and most recently served as marketing and operations director at IGT, prior to which she also had spells with the likes of St Minver and Sportingbet.

Alison Digges, managing director of gaming brands at Ladbrokes-Coral, said: “Sarah comes with a long background in the gaming industry and we are very happy to have her on board sharing her wealth of knowledge.

“Her experience will ensure she is will equipped to embrace any opportunities and challenges for the brands, and make great strides in the marketing this coming year.”
