| By Stephen Carter
Exclusive to iGB, leading sector recruiter Pentasia has released the results of its second annual survey into the career ambitions of more than 1,000 professionals working in igaming and tech

Among the key findings of the second edition of Pentasia and Headcount's annual Ambitions survey is that learning beats earning for the majority of respondents.

New tech and markets remain key motivations for those seeking to progress or land a new job  in igaming and tech, with the opportunity to work with emerging tech such as AI top of their wishlist in 2019.

New markets in continents slowly opening up to igaming, such as Asia and Africa, were also on the radar of respondentds, with 41% keen to work in these territories, ahead of the US, referenced by 22%.

The crossover with esports has also emerged as an area of interest since the 2018 survey, with 26% wanting to work in this area.
