Magnet Gaming has announced plans to expand its international operations after taking a strategic decision on its licensing.

The supplier had been operating under dot.com licences in regions such as its native Denmark, as well as the UK and Belgium.

However, the firm will now pursue licences in other jurisdictions around Europe in order to expand its business.

Thomas Nielsen, head of game licensing at Magnet, said: “Our games have been in demand in numerous markets for some time now, but we always wanted to make sure that we had very strict standards around licensing.

“That will continue, of course, but we see no reason to not offer them to companies licensed in well-respected open licences like Gibraltar and Malta.

“Many operators and suppliers are licensed there now and they are very well regulated.

“We’re very confident our games will have resonance in those markets and others around the world, particularly where sociable casino players are currently under-served by the offering of many operators.”
