Marketing platform provider BlueRibbon has been awarded a supplier licence by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
The approval will allow BlueRibbon to work with Malta-licensed operators to create jackpot promotions to incentivise and reward their players with non-bonus-based prizes.
Already licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, the BlueRibbon platform enables operators to create, customise and control bespoke jackpots tailored to their business needs and that cater to all player segments and preferences.
The platform can be used with online casino, sports betting, bingo, poker and live dealer games.
“We are thrilled to have been awarded a licence by the Malta Gaming Authority; this will allow us to offer our unique jackpot marketing proposition to Malta-licensed operators for the first time,” BlueRibbon co-founder and CEO, Amir Askarov, said.
“It is also further proof that our platform and technology is fully compliant with the rules and requirements of one of the most established and respected regulators in the world.”
The approval comes after the MGA last week moved to cancel licences for two operators that had previously been active in its regulated market.
Neptune Entertainment and Triton Gaming have both been ordered to shut down all operations with immediate effect. The MGA did not go into detail as to the reasons for the move.
