Romania has now added more than 70 online gaming domains to its blacklist this year after announcing the latest outlawed sites.
At a meeting of Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN) on 15 May, it was decided that 16 extra domains should be added to its blacklist.
This means internet service providers in Romania are now legally bound to cut access to them.
The new additions to the list are obscure sites such as 1x-bet90708.com, alfcasino1.com and wazamba777.com. They join the 41 and 15 domains added on 11 May and in January respectively.
The ONJN has maintained its blacklist since 2015, with the launch coming ahead of the country opening its regulated online gambling market in 2016.
