Pixel.bet aims to ‘revolutionise’ esports betting
Pixel.bet has launched a new platform to offer fans of esports the chance to bet on professional competitions.
Now live in beta mode, the mobile-first platform Pixel.bet platform will cover a number of major esports contests from around the world.
Users can bet on games such as ‘Dota 2’, ‘Counter Strike’ and ‘League of Legends’, which regularly feature in tournaments including ESL One, War Gaming League and StarLadder.
Pixel.bet will initially launch in European Union countries, but later also go live in other markets across the world.
Richard Smith, chief executive of Pixel.bet, said: “At present, esports fans are not being served in the way they deserve; their favourite games are tucked away in a small corner of a huge sports betting platform where the focus is football or tennis.
“We want to change all that by focusing purely on the games we and they love.
“Pixel.bet has been designed to offer esports fans a platform that is simple, fast and seamless.
“With betting opportunities every day on our state-of-the-art platform, pixel.bet offers millions of fans the chance to ‘master the game’.”
