MGM’s responsible gaming initiative hits interaction milestone
Casino operator MGM Resorts International has announced that its GameSense responsible gaming initiative has surpassed 1m customer interactions at its US properties.
Developed and licensed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), the GameSense program was adopted by MGM in 2017, with the aim of helping guests make informed decisions and to keep gambling fun.
GameSense focuses on personal interactions between guests and staff based at the M life Rewards desk at each MGM facility. Guests can also utilise interactive GameSense touchscreens and access various educational materials.
Such has been the impact of GameSense that the program has earned recognition from the National Council on Problem Gambling.
“Our conversations with guests are not only about encouraging responsible play, but improving guest relationships and providing world-class service,” MGM Resorts’ executive director of responsible gambling, Rich Taylor, said.
“I’m so proud of our teams, especially the GameSense Advisors, who deliver GameSense to our guests every day.”
Earlier this week, MGM rolled out the new BetMGM online sports betting and gaming app in New Jersey, through its Roar Digital joint venture with GVC Holdings.
